"In 365 Days" is a photodiary I've decided to initiate, compiling day to day events with a snapshot of a moment of the day.
It is the snapshot of a minute in my life, that caught my eye, with a caption of sorts, either explaining the picture or describing my emotions.
I have been told that I never really open up myself to others, and more often than not, I leave people wondering what I truly feel or giving them confusing signals.
Thus, this photodiary, is in a sense, a window to my head.
All my thoughts, my emotions, everything I usually keep out-of-sight, will be put under here, other then my regular blog posts, which are usually not very informative.

Yeeyee brought me to this new meat BBQ place in ION
It's called Magosaburou
And they had the most amazing pieces of meat I've had yet.
Though a warning for those with small pockets -
The prices are quite faint-inducing as well.

Death by Suffocation



Everyone hides.
Nobody really show who they really are to others.
Not till they are really sure of them.
More so for me.
Each passing day, I find it harder and harder to trust the world out there.
I wish it didn't have to be this way.
And saying "But, I can't help it!" seems more like a pathetic excuse then a real reason.

I try. But it's difficult when people are so fickle.
Maybe that's why I prefer being alone lately.

When I finally find someone I can be around fully,
Not a half-shot attempt to be me,
I appreciate them very much.
Because, how many people do we meet that allows us to be ourselves without judgement?

I do dislike it when people turn around and call me fake
I merely not sure about you
And I don't show you my true self
Because you're not worth it

I wear my heart on my sleeve
Though very few people can see it
And those that do are the ones who truly treasure me
They are the ones who I can go without meeting for years
And when we do
Nothing's changed - we're still best friends
And I love them for that simple reason

Seeing people die around me
Makes me realise I don't have time to please and cajole people
I need to go out and find the best for me
Or when it's my turn to go
I'll regret not living fully

Why I desperately want to be a somebody working behind the scenes
Going to god-forsaken places
Risking my life for people who don't even know me
Is simple

I need to do something with my life,
Because I don't have enough of it to do things like sitting around the coffeeshop and contemplate about it.

But people don't understand it
They call me selfish for worrying the people around me
For not being filial to stick around for my parents in their final years

The thing is
I believe my parents will understand
They've provided for me all my life
In hopes that I never have to live a life like theirs
Un-filial as it is to die before them
I hope that they will be proud of me, of my decision

For every stupid, selfish thing I do
The reasoning behind it is laughably simple:
I don't want to die with regrets.
And I don't know when I will die.
So I need to live each day fully and not just let it get by.
Which also means
I don't have the time to placate people who cannot and refuse to understand me
I need someone who can understand me and not let their pride get in the way.

Your wedding is one of the best days of your life. Because it’s the day you realise I finally have the thing I need to be happy.

And then you forget. So then what happens is instead of waking up every morning and shouting Somebody loves me! You start looking around and thinking What do I want now? What’s the next thing I need to be happy?

So, you look and you look and you keep thinking that you found it. But nothing works.. because that hole in your heart that you’re trying to fill is already filled. You just forgot.

Don’t ever forget. Always remember how much you wanted to be loved and how much you are loved.

Definition of Bullying
Bullying is when someone keeps doing or saying things to have power over another person.
Some of the ways they bully other people are by: calling them names, saying or writing nasty things about them, leaving them out of activities, not talking to them, threatening them, making them feel uncomfortable or scared, taking or damaging their things, hitting or kicking them, or making them do things they don't want to do.

Have you ever done something like that to someone?
I know I have.
Back in primary school I did that to someone
More than someone
Some people.
Then Karma happened.
And we all know how bitchy she can be.
And I never did that again.

You'd think as people grow older they would learn to be more matured and not as childish.
But I realized that as people age,
The more childish and immature they become.
And the deeds they do are more dastardly as well.

While we don't threaten people,
Or go out of our way to make them fear us and inflict physical pain on them anymore,
We start to exact emotional pain on people.
And of the two (physical and mental), I feel emotional pain is the worse.

We talk behind their backs and call them nasty names behind their backs.
We exclude them from our events and ignore them when they approach us.

Why?

Does it make you feel better about yourself?
Do you feel cool and popular?
Are you going to get a prize for putting down someone just because he or she is different?

All it takes is for one person to start hating on someone different
And the rest to join in.

Think about it:
That person who started the whole show is probably insecure and afraid of that person who is different from him or herself.
He or she then pretends to be confident, when in reality, he or she isn't.
But we dare not point it out.
We being the cowards that we are, join in.

But if we didn't,
And we had made a stand and said that "No, I think that you're wrong."
This wouldn't happened. And that person who tried to stir trouble up, would probably never try to do it again.

Don't get me wrong,
This isn't about humiliating the bully,
Because if we did that, how different would we be different from the bully?
This is about putting a stop to bullying, the act of bullying.

Stand up for yourself.
Stand up for that poor kid that unwillingly became the butt of all your jokes.
Stand up against bullying.

Appreciate the fact that we are all different. That we are individuals with different strengths and weaknesses.
Stop being afraid of people who are different from us.

We had a Marvel marathon at home since it was a public holiday
I watched the two Iron Man movies back-to-back (Isn't Robert Downey Jr. just gorgeous?)
And Thor and Captain America with the boy

Personally, although I do love Robert Downey Jr.
My favourite Marvel movie is Captain America
I think I'm infatuated with any era that is not the 21st century.
